waste plastic recycling line

Plastic Recycling Line Sourcing coordinates comparable factory quotations for a waste plastic recycling line. We align sample-trial assumptions, water-treatment ownership, included items and exclusions. We do not operate a recycling plant and we do not present any bidder as a pre-approved vendor list.

Service stage and responsibilities

Sample trial

Work through this decision
Sample trial: Must have
Each factory must quote the same polymer mix, contaminant map, feed form and the same wash/separate/dry route. Ask who supplies process-water circulation, treatment and sludge handling, and how residual moisture and contamination will be verified. Plant procurement managers usually also name quantity, US destination and the requested ship window so freight is not silently omitted. If the trial uses pre-sorted flake, it is not valid for unsorted waste.
Tradeoff
A longer demonstration that includes dirty fractions and a water-balance sheet can look slower and still be the only trial that matches production. A short clean-flake run looks faster and hides screen blinding, oil films and dryer load. Industry practice treats nominal speed and validated output as different questions; we keep those columns separate so two factory replies can be compared without publishing a savings percentage this project does not have evidence for.
Next question
Who owns the water plant and the discharge permit? If the factory quotes only mechanical equipment, list treatment as a separate line. If the factory includes treatment, still record test methods for residual moisture so SAT does not invent a different lab sheet.

Buyer supplies the waste description, utilities, destination and acceptance sample. Sourcing coordination restates those inputs on one RFQ sheet and returns factory replies with gaps flagged. The factory confirms process feasibility, included hardware, excluded site work and which documents they will issue for that serial. Certification belongs to the product and the factory, not to Plastic Recycling Line Sourcing. No reply-time or output promise is published here because duty cycle and feedstock change the result.

When two factories disagree on residual moisture, ask both to restate the measurement point and drying basis instead of averaging the two numbers. When they disagree on throughput, return to input versus dried recovered mass rather than picking the higher brochure figure. Single-machine versus integrated-line scope is a second split: a pelletizer handshake is an interface, not proof that the washing cell already includes extrusion labor. Spare screens, paddles and filter bags should appear as named kits or they will arrive as afterthoughts during SAT. Tooling, installation, shipping, training and commissioning remain included or separately quoted—never assumed. Read Machine Selection when the open item is sorting documents versus wash route.
